Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar shared a proud moment with his fans on social media on Friday when he announced that his daughter, Sara, had realised her long-standing dream of opening a Pilates studio. Tendulkar beamed with pride as he shared photographs from the inauguration of the studio in Mumbai, where he was seen cutting the ribbon alongside his wife, Anjali.
Sachin Tendulkar praised Sara’s dedication in pursuing her dream, saying that she had worked tirelessly for it and built her journey brick by brick.
A Pilates studio is a specialised fitness space where people practise Pilates, a low-impact exercise system that focuses on strength, flexibility, posture, and controlled breathing. Such studios are often equipped with apparatus such as reformers, mats, and resistance tools, with trained instructors guiding clients through exercises tailored to improve core strength and overall body balance.
“As a parent, you always hope your children find something they truly love doing. Watching Sara open a Pilates studio has been one of those moments that fills our hearts,” Sachin said in a post on social media.
