Popular Punjabi actor-comedian Jaswinder Bhalla passed away on the morning of August 22, 2025, at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after battling illness for the past few months. He was 65. The late actor was loved by audiences for his memorable performances in films like 'Gaddi Chaldi Hai Chhalla Maarke,' 'Carry On Jatta,' 'Jind Jaan,' and 'Band Baaje.' His final prayer meet will be held on August 30, 2025.

Jaswinder Bhalla's son Pukhraj took to social media to inform everyone that the prayer meet for the late soul will be held on August 30, 2025. He posted, "For the eternal peace of his soul, the Shri Sehaj Paath Sahib—Bhog and Antim Ardaas—will be held on 30th August 2025, Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Gurdwara Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Sector 34C, Chandigarh."
He captioned the post, "Waheguru," following a folded hands emoji.
