Smriti Mandhana Makes History, First Indian Woman to Score Centuries in All Cricket Formats

Smriti Mandhana, the dynamic batter from Team India, has made cricket history by becoming the first Indian woman cricketer to achieve centuries in all three international formats: Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.

This remarkable feat was accomplished during the first T20I match between India Women and England Women at Trent Bridge. Mandhana delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 112 runs off just 62 balls.

As captain, Mandhana led the team with an aggressive innings, hitting 15 fours and three sixes. Her dominant performance propelled India to a total of 210/5 in 20 overs, marking their highest-ever T20I score against England.

This century was also Mandhana's first in T20Is, making her the only Indian woman batter to achieve this milestone. Her innings showcased both elegance and power, effectively neutralizing England’s leading spinners, such as Sophie Ecclestone, with bold strokeplay.

Valuable contributions from Harleen Deol (43 off 23) and Deepti Sharma (7 not out off 3) further supported India’s strong run rate throughout the innings. Lauren Bell was the most successful of England’s bowlers, taking three wickets.
