In the video, Sheetal confidently maneuvers the vehicle, proving that limitations are self-defined. Her caption, "Took on the driver’s seat for a while, loving every moment of it. Never say NEVER,” resonated deeply with viewers, further solidifying her image as a symbol of resilience and boundless potential.
The video quickly went viral, garnering widespread admiration and praise for Sheetal's determination.
Sheetal was born with phocomelia, a rare condition resulting in the absence of arms. However, she has never allowed her disability to hinder her aspirations. She has achieved international recognition in para-archery, mastering a unique technique of using her right foot, shoulder, and jaw to shoot.
At the Paris Paralympics, Sheetal made history by achieving a record-breaking score of 703 out of 720, surpassing the previous record of 698 and earning a bronze medal. This accomplishment made her only the second armless athlete to ever win a Paralympic medal.
Hailing from a small village in Jammu, Sheetal’s journey embodies the power of perseverance. From her childhood days of climbing trees to her achievements on the Paralympic stage, her determination has been the driving force. Her recent display of driving a car with her feet serves as a powerful reminder that no obstacle is too great to overcome.
